Claire Elise Boucher (/bu:'SeI/ boo-SHAY, born on 17 March, 1988), known professionally as Grimes, is a Canadian artist, singer, songwriter, and record producer. There are many styles of her earlier music is described as "lo hi R&B" and "futuristic dance-pop". In addition, she has incorporated elements from hip hop, electronic and rock. A lot of her songs touch upon science fiction themes as well as feminist issues. She's recorded five albums. Grimes is a native of Vancouver but later relocated to Montreal. The singer began her solo career in the late early 2000s. In 2010, she debuted two albums via Arbutus Records, Geidi Primes (and Halfaxa), respectively. In 2012, Visions the third album she released on her studio. Grimes signed with 4AD. Visions comprises the singles "Genesis" as well as "Oblivion" as well as the Canadian music industry's Juno Award for Electronic Album of the year. [5] Following this, the fourth album of her studio, Art Angels, was released in 2015 and received the acclaim of critics, with several publications having called it the top album of 2015. Miss Anthropocene was her fifth studio album. Outside of the music industry, Grimes had a voice part in the action role-playing video game Cyberpunk 2077 and is a judge for the music competition game series Alter Ego. Georges Georges Georges
