Andressa Urach

Andressa Urach, who was then fifteen years old, was with Tiago Costa. After three months of dating, they moved in with him. Arthur Urach Costa was born in May of 2005. The couple split up within six years of being married due to disagreements. Andressa Urach relocated to her mom's home in order to stay with her sole child. In six months, Andressa Urach quit her job and had to leave her child in the custody of her father. The main aim of her life was to find a more prosperous life and a better life in Sao Paulo. Andressa Urach describes in her book Morri Para Viver her experiences with sexual abuse as a child. She was a victim from age 2 to eight of being abused by her adoptive grandfather. Andressa was able to get away from any abuse since Andressa's foster grandmother caught the perpetrators in the act. Andressa went back to remain at home with her mom, who didn't even know the fact that Andressa had suffered any sexual abuse until she wrote her book. In interviews with her, she confirmed that it was unattainable for her prior to her conversion. Forgiveness of her abuser was something she thought was impossible. One of the toughest decision I've made in my life was to call the man who sexually assaulted me. It was not an simple option. I said on the phone, after much praying and fasting, that I forgiven the man. Even though I'm in no way guilty, I asked for forgiveness. The only thing I did was request forgiveness. Mariste Urach describes her reaction during an interview exclusively with Globo when she realized that a sexy attack was perpetrated against her daughter. Urach went to the city of Rio Grande do Sul where the pedophile was a resident to seek justice.
